Hi, I’m Joanna, recovering yo - yo dieter, fun seeker and weight releaser. Did you notice that when we lose something (unless it's socks in the wash) we usually end up fining it again? Yet we talk about losing weight and then wonder why the lbs just creep back on... Go figure!
I've been on a diet ever since I can remember, and on diet pills around the age of 10. I started a new diet every Monday (that's why this program starts on a Tuesday - to break that pattern!) and usually by Wednesday felt deprived, starving and miserable.
I've figured "the food stuff" and can still estimate calorie count of any meal pretty accurately, however I still wasn't losing the weight. That's when I decided to dig deeper, to look beyond food and calories - the approach that changed everything. And that's why I now teach my clients to eat, so that you can break the crazy cycle of dieting, release the weight naturally and have fun while doing it.
My dream is for women to embrace who they are, stop denying themselves and follow their passions. I will show you how to go from hungry and angry to radiant and nourished, without dieting, deprivation and calorie counting.
Once upon a time, I took the bait, too. I’ve been where you are. I tried every diet (always starting on a Monday). I cried when they didn’t work and the weight just came back. Until I discovered that there IS nothing wrong with me. I discovered that diets simply don’t work and deprivation, calorie counting and restriction are completely counter-productive.

A Little More About Me
Having spent 30+ years as a yo-yo dieter (and trust me – I took this job seriously!) I was ready for something different. I finally realized that skipping from one diet to another will lead me nowhere (surprise, surprise!). I wanted to make lifelong changes. I wanted to stop obsessing about food, eat to live and bring the fun back.
That brought me to the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I was always interested in health, but when I graduated as a certified coach, I wanted to create a program that would help people take small steps towards lifelong, sustainable changes.
