I used to be a constant dieter. I calorie counted, I had a cup of coffee and boiled egg for breakfast, I replaced my meals with the powdered stuff. You name it – I did it. All in the name of losing weight and getting skinny.
All that came at a price – I was hungry and angry all the time. I was miserable. Not only was I hungry and depriving myself, I also wasn’t really getting the results I wanted. I would lose 5LBS and gain 7. It was a constant rollercoaster. I had no energy, I stopped going out with friends and instead sulk at home in my baggy sweatpants watching sad movies about impossible love until my face was blotchy with tears. Then I’d pull a chair up to the refrigerator and pig out till my stomach hurt.
I kept chasing the impossible dream.
Luckily I was able to come out on the other side, I discovered what works for me, lost weight, and I am having the time of my life. Now I want the same for you.
