Ingredients
- 5 carrots
- 1 tbsp tahini sesame paste
- 2 tbsp ground almonds
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 clove garlic
- carrot cooking water
- 1/2 cup cooked chickpea optional
Servings: people
Instructions
- Cook the carrots until tender (i usually cook them with other vegetables to make stock)
- Blend all ingredients together, adding a little cooking water to thin the dip out, if and as desired
- Adjust seasoning
Recipe Notes
This is a great alternative to hummus, works great as a dip and spread for toast.
You can served it sprinkled with toasted seeds or nuts
