Ingredients
- 2 carrots (about ½ cup) grated
- 1 can red kidney beans
- 2.5 cups cooked green lentils
- 2 cups cooked millet
- 2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon tamari or soy sauce
- salt and pepper
Servings: burgers
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180C
- In a bawl mash together beans, carrots and lentils. You can use food processor but I find that potato masher does the job just fine, and I like the mixture to have some texture as well
- Add millet, spices, mix well and taste so that you can adjust seasoning.
- Form burgers and place them on a baking tray.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping half way through, until golden.
- Enjoy with a big salad, or a burger bun. Makes perfect lunch box filler as well. Freezer friendly
